Tiger 3, India’s upcoming Hindi-language action thriller film, is directed by Maneesh Sharma and produced by Aditya Chopra. It features Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi in the lead roles. Serving as the fifth installment of YRF Spy Universe and a sequel to Tiger Zinda Hai (2017), the film has the distinction of being Yash Raj Films’ most expensive project, with an estimated budget of ₹300 crore (US$38 million). . Originally planned to release on April 21, 2023, the film has been postponed and will now hit theaters on November 10, 2023, coinciding with the Diwali festival.

Yash Raj Films, Salman Khan, and Katrina Kaif officially announced Tiger 3 on March 4, 2022 via social media, along with an announcement video revealing the release date. The film features an ensemble cast, including Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, Ranvir Shorey reprising his role as Ek Tha Tiger, Vishal Jethwa, and Emraan Hashmi. Also, Revathi and Riddhi Dogra joined the cast in November 2022. Shah Rukh Khan confirmed the cameo of him in November 2022 and filmed the part of him in April 2023, reprising his role as Pathaan. Hrithik Roshan is also expected to make a cameo appearance as War’s Major Kabir Dhaliwal.
Principal photography began in March 2021 in Mumbai and Delhi, with additional filming in Turkey, Saint Petersburg, Austria, and New Delhi. In April 2023, extensive sets were built in Mumbai and a ten-day shoot took place on the island of Madh for an action sequence featuring a cameo appearance by Shah Rukh Khan. The shooting of the film wrapped up at the end of May 2023. The collaboration between Salman Khan and Revathi on this film marks their first project together in 19 years since Phir Milenge.
