The story follows the adventures of a young mermaid name Ariel who long to discover the world above the water in the little mermaid author Hans Christian Andersen original 1837 publication. Rebellious 16 year old mermaid Ariel the princess is fascinated with life on land in Disney’s captivating animated adventure. She falls in love with human prince on one of her banned trip to the surface which are bannned by her cruel father King Triton.
