On December 5, 2024, the highly anticipated season of ABC’s celebrity dancing competition Dancing With the Stars came to an end. In the last scene, a new winner of the Mirrorball Trophy was revealed and awarded.
After two rounds of competition, Xochitl Gomez and Val Chmerkovskiy emerged victorious among the surviving pairs. Charity and Artem finished fourth, and Alyson and Sasha came in fifth. Ariana and Pasha came in third place, while Jason and Danielle came in second.
In a surprise visit, former champion Charli D’Amelio handed the Mirrorball Trophy to the season 32 champions.

“I never imagined I’d be this proficient at dancing,” said Xochitl Gomez, the season 32 winner of Dancing With the Stars.
The 17-year-old Mexican-American actor discussed her experience on the show with Hola Magazine before to the season finale. She mentioned in the conversation that she now has more respect for dancers as a result of Dancing With The Stars.
The season 32 winner shared details about her and Val’s pre-performance routine, saying they say a quick prayer before each show, are “just thankful” that they can perform, and intend to give it their all. She claimed that it was an effective method for reducing anxiety and excitement.
When Xochitl talked about her best performance, she mentioned “Quickstep.” She described it as “cute” and “fun,” saying that it was a perfect match for Paso Doble.

On Tuesday, December 5, 2024, the final show aired. It began with a redemption round. The remaining competitors were required to dance to a style they had previously done, along with their professional dancing partners.
Alyson Hannigan and Sasha Farber danced salsa to open the round with a score of 25 out of 30. Following with Foxtrot, Jason Mraz and Daniella Karagrach received a score of 30 out of 30. With their Samba, Ariana Madix and Pasha Pashkov scored 29 out of 30.
The Dancing With The Stars competitors Charity Lawson and Artem Chigvintsev’s Tango also received a score of 29 out of 30. The final pair to dance in the redemption round, Xochitl Gomez and Val Chmerkovskiy, performed a Foxtrot and received a score of 30 out of 30.
A freestyle round that began with Charity Lawson came next. She received a flawless score for her performance. Next up, Jason Mraz scored 30 out of 30 as well. Alyson Hannigan earned 28 out of 30, while Ariana Madix also achieved a flawless score. Moreover, Xochitl Gomez scored flawlessly.
