Spider Man Across The Spider Verse Storyline :
On Earth-65, Gwen Stacy, known as Spider-Woman, lives with her father, Police Captain George Stacy. However, George is unaware of Gwen’s secret identity. Years ago, Gwen accidentally caused the death of her friend Peter Parker, who had transformed into the Lizard. Since then, the police have been after Gwen. One night, Gwen meets the Vulture from an alternate universe with an Italian Renaissance theme. Two other Spider-People, Miguel O’Hara and Jessica Drew, arrive and help Gwen defeat the Vulture. Gwen reveals her identity to her father, who is distraught and tries to arrest her. Miguel reluctantly allows Gwen to join his Spider-Society and they escape through a portal together.
Meanwhile, on Earth-1610 in Brooklyn, Miles Morales, aka Spider-Man, misses Gwen and has conflicts with her parents. He meets Spot, a scientist infused with portal abilities due to an explosion at Alchemax. The Spot blames Miles for his condition and reveals that he brought a spider from another universe that later bit Miles. The Spot learns to travel to different universes with colliders to gain more power.
Gwen travels to Earth-1610 and reunites with Miles while secretly tracking down the Spot. They discover Spot’s plans and travel to Earth-50101, where they join other Spider-Men against him. During the battle, Spot absorbs the power of the collider and Miles has a vision of Spot attacking his father. As the dimension collapses, Miles saves Inspector Singh, the father of Pavitr’s girlfriend. They are then sent to the Spider-Society headquarters on Earth-928.
At headquarters they meet Miguel, Peter B. Parker and his daughter Mayday. Miguel explains that each Spider-Person has canonical events that must be followed, or reality is in jeopardy. Miles learns that Spot killing his father is a canon event. Miguel tries to stop Miles from saving his father, but escapes with Hobie’s help. Miguel orders the others to arrest Miles, but he manages to flee with the help of Margo Kess.
Miles returns to his own dimension and reveals his secret identity to his mother. However, he realizes that he is on a different Earth-42, where his uncle Aaron is alive and his father is dead. Gwen is sent back to her own dimension, but receives a surveillance portal from Hobie through her father. Determined to find and help Miles, she decides to use him.
Back on Earth-1610, Spot launches an attack while Gwen assembles a team of Spider-People, including Peter B. Parker, Mayday, Pavitr, Hobie, Margo, Spider-Man Noir, Peni Parker, and Spider-Ham, to locate miles. . Meanwhile, Jess eavesdrops on Gwen’s conversation with Miles’s parents, and it is revealed that Miles from Earth-42 has become a Prowler.

Sony Pictures Animation began developing a sequel to Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse in November 2018, following the first film’s positive reception. The sequel would continue the story of Miles Morales and explore his relationship with Gwen Stacy.
