Adipurush Storyline :
Thousands of years ago, the demon king Lankesh received a boon from the god of creation, Brahma, which made him invincible to Devas and demons alike. Meanwhile, King Dashratha of Kosala exiled his son Raghava for 14 years to fulfill a promise he made to his wife Kaikeyi. Raghava, accompanied by his wife Janaki and his brother Shesh, accepted exile and settled in the forests of Panchavati near the Godavari river.
Lankesh’s sister, the demon Shurpanakha, tried to seduce the brothers but she failed and she ended up losing her ears and nose. Seeking revenge for the humiliation of his sister, Lankesh kidnapped Janaki. Raghava and Shesh, aided by the Monkey King Sugriva, his ally Bajarang and his monkey army, embarked on a mission to rescue Janaki. With the help of the Sea God, they built a bridge called Ram Setu to cross the ocean. Finally, they reached the shores of Lanka.
Meanwhile, Lankesh’s brother Vibhishana, who had opposed Janaki’s kidnapping, joined Raghava’s army and fought against his own. Despite facing challenges, including Shesh’s injury inflicted by Lankesh’s son Indrajit, they managed to heal him with the miraculous sanjivani herb brought by Bajarang. Engaging in a decisive battle, Raghava and Shesh were victorious, defeating Lankesh’s forces and killing Kumbhakarna and Indrajit.
With no other choice, Lankesh faced Raghava himself on the battlefield. In an epic battle, Raghava managed to kill Lankesh and free Janaki. With their 14-year exile completed, Raghava, Shesh, and Janaki returned to Kosala, where Raghava was crowned king.

Due to the some controversy the movie initial release date of August 11, 2022, was later adipurush movie postponed to June 16, 2024. The makers have confirmed thatadipurush release date 2024 it would be released . howevere the exact release date has not yet been disclose. To appeal to a pan Indian audience the film is also being dubbed in a number of languages, including Tamil, telugu, malayalam and Kannada.
Adipurush Budget and Collection :

In terms of box office performance, Adipurush had a good opening weekend but saw a sharp drop in takings on Monday and Tuesday. As of June 30, 2024, the film has grossed ₹450 crore (US$56 million) worldwide.
